FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Below are some frequently asked questions. - What is your refund/cancellation policy? Q: What is your refund/cancellation policy? A: Most of the time it shouldn't come down to this as we will try our best to work with you in this situation. A non-refundable 50% deposit is due upon booking. Cancellations made within 7 days of your event you are subject to additional fees unless the event can be rescheduled. Please Click Here  to download and read our agreement which outlines these conditions in more detail. Back to Top Q: What areas do you service? A: MVP is based in Central New Jersey. We can easily service all areas within a 50 mile radius of the Marlboro, Morganville, Englishtown & Manalapan area. Areas outside this operating area or out of the state are subject to an additional minimum of $75 travel fee. Back to Top Q: How much space and setup time does MVP need? A: The MVP vehicle is 16 feet long, from bumper to bumper, and 6.5 feet wide. We would require an additional 3 feet at the rear and sides of the vehicle for guests to move in and out. This vehicle should easily fit on most driveways, however, we would require a level surface area to insure pleasant playing conditions. Depending on the event, we require minimal setup time, about 10-15 minutes. Special events requiring external station setup will usually take more time for setup and breakdown. This time is excluded from your actual event time. Back to Top Q: How much do parties cost? A: Pricing is extremely competitive to other party alternatives. A one hour event costs as little as $175 for 12 or more guests. Please see our rates section for more details. For other special events such as fundraisers, school or business, please call us directly to discuss pricing. Back to Top Q: How many guests can fit in and out of the MVP vehicle? A: There are 3 gaming stations within the vehicle with maximized seating for 12 players to interact and play at the same time. If you expect more guests, we can manage them to ensure everyone participates. MVP can also provide external stations for guests to play outside of the vehicle. (Weather Permitting) Back to Top Q: Is there an age limit? A: An MVP event is perfect for everyone. However, we do recommend that participants be able to read and follow instructions. Our suggested minimum age is 6 years and older. Back to Top Q: What games are available? A: MVP features the latest and most popular games for the Xbox 360, Wii and Playstation. If you have a special request please contact us prior to your event. We will do our best to accommodate you. If you have a game from home that you would like to bring aboard our theater please ask permission of the MVP host at the event. **Parents- All console games are rated by the ESRB organization. You can find more information regarding ratings for specific games by clicking on the following link http://www.esrb.org. If there are games which you DO NOT want your guests to play, please inform MVP at the time of booking or at the start of the event. Back to Top Q: How about the weather? Too hot? Too cold? A: The MVP vehicle is self powered and climate controlled. For the most part we can accommodate most weather conditions. In the event that there is severe weather the day of the event that precludes the party from occurring then it will be rescheduled at no additional charge, for a mutually agreed date and time. Back to Top Q: Can you have food or drinks in the MVP vehicle? A: We insist that all food and drinks remain outside of the vehicle. Back to Top Q: Do parents need to supervise? A: We require that one responsible adult remains at the event for it's duration. Parents are more than welcome to board the vehicle. However, it is not required. Each MVP event is run by an experienced gaming host who will insure the success of each event. Your MVP host will also do their best to involve everyone regardless of their skill level. Back to Top Q: Do you need to plug into an outlet? A: 2 Answers- No, for our vehicle. Each vehicle is equipped with the quietest generator in the market, making it self powered and climate controlled. However, if prior arrangements are made to have the event indoors, it will be necessary to power our portable stations via a power outlet. Back to Top Q: Do you provide cake, food, drinks, invitations? A: Please call. We can certainly arrange for this, however it is not normally included and would require an additional fee. For birthday parties, we will include 20 color invitations that can be mailed to your guests. Back to Top Q: Is it appropriate to tip the MVP host after the event? A: Gratuity is not required but greatly appreciated for a job well done. Back to Top Q: Can you provide any references? A: Though MVP was recently established, we are continuously building our customer base through public events and word of mouth. Many of our past clients were due to references from other satisfied customers. Some of our public events include Marlboro and Holmdel community days. MVP has also hosted new game releases and tournaments sponsored by Game Stop. References can definitely be provide at your request. Back to Top |
